During the end of the Ming Dynasty, a horse thief named Luk Ching Yang traveled along China's Silk Route. Luk was a very skillful martial artist who was torn between his loyalty towards a blood brother, Kiu Hung. Kiu Hung betrayed his Luk, causing Luk's wife Liu to leave him, and he was left alone. Twenty years later, the tragedy repeated itself through their next generation. Luk's and Liu's son, Pak Suk Fu, met Liu's adopted daughter Liu Wan Long by chance.
